Schedule Showings and Attend Open Houses
Now for the fun stuff! We get to go out whether in person or virtually to view homes that you have loved from our listing alerts. We will go over the budget and make sure that we are staying in between our means and finding the perfect home!
Find The Perfect Home and Write an Offer
When you’re ready to make an offer, your agent will present an offer to the seller. Sometimes an offer is accepted right away (which we love), or the seller could come back to us with a counter offer or reject your initial offer all together. We are here to help you through each of these possibilities and exactly how to handle them. Once the offer is accepted, it’s time to get your financing in order and move forward to the next step!
Acceptance, Appraisal, and Inspection
The sellers have accepted your offer, and now is when we start cooking with oil. We will start with the inspection, the inspection peels back the layers of the home and we get to take a good look at the major mechanical systems and features of the home to ensure everything is working properly and that there are no major issues. Then the appraisal happens which guarantees the price of the homes vs its condition.
Closing Time!
Now the day has arrived! All the hard work has paid off and we get to sit at the closing table to sign your documents. This process takes roughly an hour. Your attorney will go over all your documents and make sure you fully understand everything and that there are no errors in any of the paperwork. This is the last step before we hand you the keys to your brand new home!
